I’m going straight.. June 19, 2008 – 3 PM

I don’t know, but I think I must’ve found the longest, and straightest road in the whole wide world. There is not a curve on it!! And it never goes anywhere!!! But at night, there seems to be a lot a people around,though and I can’t see them, but I hear them well enough. Can’t figure why I can’t see them during the day though, Really weird stuff, but at least I got someone to talk to! But sometimes, they don’t make sense...  

Also, it looks like I’ll be going uphill for a while, and it seems like a pretty big mountain, and it’s getting to be a bit chilly, but maybe a car will finally pick us up. Here’s hoping anyway!! Also, I’m running a bit low on food and we’re getting awfully hungry, but I’m sure something will work itself out! Always do!

Hey everybody.

Now things are real lonely out here in the New Mexico desert and it’s mighty hard to get a ride. I can’t be sure, but I think one of them UFO must’ve picked me up or somthin, and dropped me off in the future, cause I’ve seen a satellite dish before, but never one this big. And there’s not just one!! There’s probably hundreds of them!!   

Now, I don’t know who owns them all, but I can’t imagine how many TV channels they must be getting! I found a sign that said it’s called the VLA which is short for the Very Large Array… Well, maybe not the most imaginative name but it sure is fittin. Hey, maybe I can use one of those things to teleport me to Hollywood, cause I’m beat from all this walking and it will probably take forever to get there, but if that’s what it takes, so be it!! 

Alright, I’m gonna hit the road again, a rolling stone gathers no moss, and hopefully, I won’t have to spend another night out here in the middle of nowhere, cause it’s awfully dark and a little bit scary..

Farewell - June 13, 2008  - 3 PM

Hey everybody! Hope you’re all doing fine! 

I’m nearing the end of this mighty big state. We’ve had a blast these last few days, well, it’s been both fun and a little scary at the same time.. You never know when Two Guns (Pete insists that I call him that) is gonna do. There were a few close calls when he started flexing while driving, but I’m ok! (sorry again for the barn mr. Buford!).

Now Two Guns gave me a ride all the way here to Farewell!! Which is actually a very fitting name, since I’ll be saying farewell not only to Pete, but soon also Texas and good ol’ Highway 84. The 84’s been real nice to me all this while, and I can only hope that the 60, is gonna treat me just as kind!

So Farewell Texass!! New Mexico, here I come!!  Feel the free y’all!!

I’m in Tuscola, Texass now, and it is a mighty nice town indeed. On this whole trip I ain’t never seen such a nice place. It’s all pretty with trees, and streets, and a gas station.. Yeeah, life is peachy.
Right now, I’m livin’ with that real nice girl who offered me a place to stay, Mary Lou Anne. In’t that just the prettiest name? I’m stayin in her brother’s room of course. Her pa asked me what I wanted to do with my life, and I done told him all about how I’m goin to Hawleewood to be a famous actor. Yeah he seemed real impressed. He thought I should hurry up and get there soon, but I told him I liked it just fine here for now. This is Goob, signin off! Feel the free.

Texass sure is a big place—I been here for days, and they tell me I’m only bout halfway through! Things are mighty fine now though, I got a ride with this nice cowboy, he done recognized me from my videos, and he was so excited he even let me stay at his house and have dinner with his family! I tell you, it felt almost like being back home with ma.
