The International Academy of Web Television has nominated theGoob.com for their prestiougous Streamy award. The nominated comes in the “Best Animation in a Web Series” category and Assorted Nuts, EMI, and, of course, the man himself, Dwayne “The Goob” Gunderson, are delighted over the news and look forward to the awards ceremony.
EMI Records has announced that the new single, a remix of The Goob’s country song ‘Feel the Free’, will be released on March 22nd, 2010. The new single, remixed by world-renowned hitmakers RamPac, will be accompanied by a brand new music video with all new material.
Former Alabama peanut-picker Dwayne “The Goob” Gunderson has signed a record deal with major label EMI, adding to the record companies already impressive list of talent artists. The agreement includes music, associated digital content and products, as well merchandising.

The first single is scheduled to be released on January 18, 2010.
In early 2010, The Goob will head to Saginaw, Michiganand Country Music station 94,5 The Moose. Setup with USdistribution partner Strike.TV, The Goob will re-launch on the station’s website, www.945themoose.com, airing a new episode every Tuesday and Thursday. The online distribution will be complemented with on-air promotions including The Goob’s latest country single ‘Feel The Free’.
Los Angeles-based distribution outfit Strike.TV has inked a deal with The Goob for the USpremiere of the ‘Bama native’s Video Blog.
